 forum.portraitartist.com  Specailizing in portraiture but excellent resource for information about painting in any medium. When I have any technical questions or just want to see what other artists in the portrait world are doing I go here.

 www.artrenewal.org   This is a great site for articles and learning about artists of the past. They hold a juried show every year and the finalists are of very high quality. Click on the “winners of the ARC competition” to view them.

 www.painterskeys.com   This is a free bi-weekly newsletter written by Canadian artist Robert Genn. It is informative and thought provoking and he provides “click backs” where other artists can reply to his newsletter and post their own artwork.

 www.richardschmid.com   Wonderful artist and informative website. Very nice FAQ section.

 www.scottburdick.com And yet another terrific artist who knows how to throw paint around. Click on his section of painting demonstrations. He is an excellent instructor as well as painter.

 www.christensenstudio.com Scott Christensen is a landscape artist who uses a limited palette of red, yellow, blue and white. See what you can get from the primaries!

 www.burtonsilverman.com One of my painting hero's. Silverman is never afraid to break the rules of any medium in order to get the painting he wants. He is a top-notch draftsman as well.
