Day 8 of 30 painting in 30 days challenge:  OK, today I am tired!  This was the first day of the winter semester and I taught three classes back to back.  Being the first day it was also demo day for the new students.  So I did two demos today.  I will post the other one at a later date.  This was for my alla prima still life class.  The goal of the class is to paint a still life from start to finish in three hours, less if you consider I always give a lecture.  I have the most amazing students that continuously impress me with their curiosity and ability to take on any challenge I give them.  The focus on the class is on understanding the process and not on getting a masterpiece but I have seen some remarkable work finished in that class.  I guess doing the 30 paintings in 30 days challenge is giving me a chance to be in their shoes, minus the bossy teacher of course!
