Day 12 of the 30/30 challenge:  I thought I would do a warm up for a bigger painting tomorrow.  This method of painting consists of a transparent wash of pure colors brushed over the canvas.  In this case it was permanent rose and indian yellow.  Then paint on top of the wash and allow bits of the under layer to shine through.  Lots of thick gooey paint in some of the light areas push the feeling of dimension on the canvas.  This is a lot of fun to play with but very difficult to get a good photograph of the work.
