I miss classes too!!! I have been traveling a lot and the workshops have been a great way to keep up my teaching mojo but I REALLY loved the weekly classes and miss you guys terribly.

Simplicity is the hardest concept to trust in art. We always think adding more will make a better painting. The problem occurs if the artist does not identify a visual narrative utilizing elements of shape,value,edge,and color. Painting "stuff" confuses the viewer by breaking the narrative into parts that are not cohesive.
