Day Four of the 30 paintings in 30 day challenge:  This is my second painting of the day.  My first one is a still life.  I am saving that one to post on my long teaching day.  Tonight my son, Shawn, sat for me.  Shawn was my first model and used to play on the floor with his blocks and legos while I sketched him.  He continued to pose for me in high school and appreciated the money when groups of artists would hire him to pose with his guitar.  He has been busy with college and is a recent grad from MSU.  Home before he heads off to a job he sat for me once more.  The last time I painted him he was a teenager, this time I painted a young man.
